Several complaints have been made after a group of 12 to 16 men were seen engaging in self-pleasure while watching a couple having sex in a car at the Jersey Marine car park in Swansea Bay.
The Swansea LGBT charity, Unity Group Wales, was contacted by the police and asked to visit the site, as it was initially believed the men were taking part in Gay Dogging. However, the charity’s CEO, Andrew Davies, stated that they were actually heterosexual men.
He added that the charity was often asked by the police to visit known “dogging” and “cruising” sites, such as Jersey Marine and Penllergare Woods car park. He emphasized that such activities are only considered illegal if someone takes offense. Previous complaints about “dogging” have also been made at the old Afon Tinplate works in Swansea.
